Our Story

Asian Prelam was founded in 2011 as a collaboration between Asian Exims and the Fishfa Group with a vision to redefine the modular furniture, interior architecture and interior design industry. Building upon Asian Exim’s extensive customer reach, and exhaustive and innovative product portfolio and a flawless service and business ethics commitment, Asian Prelam has taken these principles and strengths to even greater heights. With a combined experience of over 100 years, Asian Prelam now has several “firsts” and “best-in-industry” product and service attributes to its credit.

Since our inception we have drawn our greatest inspiration from nature. The beautiful forms, vibrant colours, and intricate textures of nature have inspired us to conceptualize our product range. We carefully select the premium raw materials and artistic textures to create seamless decor that adds character and finesse to commercial and residential spaces. We implement a hands-on approach for every single project. All products shipped from our facility are thoroughly examined by our quality team to ensure only the highest quality products reach our customers.

Fatema is currently leading factory systems and processes, with emphasis on quality management systems, safety protocols and production efficiencies. A certified nutritionist and fitness advisor, her mantra for personal well-being are now symbolic of Asian Prelam’s operations.

Joint Managing Director

Tariq (MS-MBA, New York University) specializes in operations, strategy and new product development for Asian Prelam. His life's mantra is not to sit still and to keep innovating continuously, as is evident if we look at Asian Prelam's journey over the years.

Director

Nisreen is in charge of marketing and also handles distribution for Asian Prelam. Her background in fashion design, knowledge about technical aspects and factory operations enable her to discern the aesthetics and build of the products manufactured by Asian Prelam.
Nuruddin Erfan

Director

With over 25 years of experience in the business, Nuruddin plays an important role in the decision-making process of the Fishfa Group and Asian Prelam. He is passionate about his work and ensures that the company operates efficiently with his expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
Suhel Kachwala

Suhel Kachwala

Director

After doing his MBA from Boston, Suhel returned to India in 2003. He took charge of the group's expansion and forayed in manufacturing. His communication skills have been instrumental in increasing sales to feed the group's growing production capacity and fuel future growth.
